Ulster American Folk Park,

The Ulster American Folk Park presents the story of emigration from the thatched cottages of Ulster to the new world homesteads of the American frontier.

1845: Memento Mori was presented in a single room cottage, August 28th- November 7th 2021.

The cottage is an example of the type of dwelling occupied by many poor tenant farmers in the decades leading up to the outbreak of the Great Famine in 1845.
